Old books often contain snippets of life in the past, which inform our present. Here I will bring snapshots from some of my antique and old books, which I hope you'll find both informative and fun to read.

I often wonder, when I read an original story, where the author got the idea for it. Sometimes ideas come to me out of thin air and I couldn't say for my life what prompted them. But in many other cases the story is the expression of something real, some compelling event that forced me to write it. Here I will tell you about some of them - at least, the ones that I can talk about.

I can’t possibly talk about all the books I really like, so I will limit my posts to a few of those, without which my library would be incomplete.
